Printmaker Kim Herringe captures moments of stillness found in the details of the natural world within a modern culture characterised by haste and automation. The honed skill of the printmaker’s hand contrasts with the speed and convenience of modern life. Kim’s prints offer the viewer a chance for meditative reflection on how time moves within their lives. Her love of teaching and passion for the craft spills over to her printmaking workshops. Here she aims to share both the craft and the mindfulness nature of the artform so others can enjoy their own moments of respite within their spaces.
