Printmaking - Made by Hand - Kyoto Hanga Exhibition Workshop
Guided by Jason Murphy, participants will explore narrative and create a symbol or symbols to construct their story. This process will include creating a stamp and experimenting with colour variation to achieve the narrative.
The workshop that explores the subtleties that can be achieved with one or more symbols. Consider how balance between negative space and symbols affect the image and examine what variations can be achieved through the use of colour

Jason Murphy has been exhibiting since 2008 and has refined his process to mono print while studying and researching art techniques. Exploring new techniques and examining processes that other artists have employed has supported Jason's development as an artist.
