Join exhibiting artist Grace McClymont in an immersive journey into the creation process used to create her artwork Splash. Participants will work towards creating their own original artwork using a number of media and techniques throughout the day. Suitable for beginners to professionals.

Grace McClymont is a Caloundra based artist with an interest in the value of art to a community and its inherent ability to create identity both individually and collectively. To this end Grace is co-founder and artist-in-residence at Red ink Rodeo Creative Artspace in downtown Caloundra where she co-ordinates group exhibitions to support other local artists, creates her artworks, and has her work on permanent display.

Registration essential. Suitable for beginners to professionals. Complimentary tea/coffee. Bring your own lunch.

Materials list

  • Art shirt or apron or wear suitable art making clothes.
  • A stretched canvas (preferably with sides and approximately 20" x 24" up to 24" x 30".
  • Preferred sketching materials.
  • Preferred brushes for acrylic paint.

All other materials will be supplied.
