Artist Statement

Your portal to a bright and happy playscape. A gigantic jello hug, full of love and light!

I have worked intuitively with materials made of light for over 30 years. I see Life/Line Drawing SRS3 as a culmination of these experiments in which the key goal was to give life to inanimate objects and spaces through light.

The artwork epitomises my interest in the inter-connectedness of all that exists in the universe, the mother, spirituality, time, collective memory, beauty, all of which are presented here in glorious and ethereal light and shadow. Life/Line Drawing SRS3 (In Golden Light & Shadow) invites the viewer to be in the moment, a golden and calming respite from the ever-increasing busyness of contemporary life.
