Art Attack

Come along and discover an exciting new art technique. Bring along the family, get creative and have some amazing fun. Facilitated by Sylvia Salisbury, Art Attack offers fun skill development activities for locals and visitors.

First and third Saturday of every month.

Wear suitable clothing (old clothes or a protective shirt) …. you could get a little messy during Art Attack!

Gold coin per participant. No bookings required. Activities are ideally suited to 5-8+ year olds. All children must be accompanied by a parent/carer.

Art Attack passport loyalty card. Do not forget to register and be in the running for a mystery art gift every 6th visit.

Texture Monsters
Make simple, colourful ‘Texture Monsters’ using rubbing
techniques, then get creative and turn them into posters,
finger puppets, playing or swap-cards or whatever else
you choose make. This activity is suitable for all ages.

Box City and Nature Crowns
Craft a beautiful crown inspired from nature using a
combination of new and natural materials then help
gallery staff to create a box city. Two fun activities that
will encourage children to make and create as well as
work collaboratively together will be available. Children
can make their own building or add to the collaborative
structure as it morphs into a city. 
Note: Kids Art Attack will be at Festival Centre as part of the 
Horizon Festival.

Tin Foil Shadow Figure
Children are invited to come along and join the team from
the gallery and create a Tin Foil Shadow Figure which has
been inspired by all the surrounding building and industrial
works.
Note: Kids Art Attack will be at Festival Centre as part of the
Horizon Festival.
