Holiday Activities

Caloundra Regional Gallery presents some seriously crafty fun with Arts Educator Sam Relihan during the school holidays.

Free. No bookings required. All children are to be accompanied by an adult/carer. Sessions are free-flowing. Two session times per day.

Upcycled Creatures

Exploring how unconventional materials can be used in unique ways, participants can create sculptural creatures using recycled materials and found objects. Participants will use simple materials such as paper cups, bottle top lids and cardboard and give them a new life using their imagination. Upcycle and turn something old into something new!

Table Talk Comics

What if objects around your house could talk? What if your knife and folk had a conversation as you were trying to have dinner? In this drawing workshop, participants will create their own funny comics and explore the relationships between objects and people. Children will be provided with creative prompts to set the scene and can use template comic sheets to create a fun visual narrative.
