Printmaking - Made by Hand - Kyoto Hanga Exhibition Workshop
Join Ulrike Sturm to learn the method of drypoint printmaking. This technique that can produce results similar to etching, without the need for toxic chemicals such as acids. Chine collé is a method of using coloured tissue to enhance the drypoint prints. Attendees will use an etching press to make the prints. Suitable for beginner and experienced printmakers. Suitable for ages 16+.

Ulrike Sturm has worked as a visual artist for over 25 years and her work has been exhibited extensively, both in Australia and internationally. She is also a lecturer in the Bachelor of Visual Arts program at Nambour TAFE in partnership with the University of Canberra.
