Works by leading First Nations artists - Jennifer Herd (MBarbarum) & Joanne Currie Nalingu (Gungurri) | 1 Jul to 21 Aug 2022

In celebration of NAIDOC, we honour two extraordinary visual storytellers. A curated collection of works by acclaimed First Nations artists Jennifer Herd (MBarbarum) and Joanne Currie Nalingu (Gungurri).

The exhibition captures their enduring artistic careers – from Jennifer’s shields as a metaphor for strength and protection, through to Joanne’s distinctive linear patterning symbolising her deep spiritual connection to the river.
