Caloundra Regional Gallery presents a changing exhibition program featuring leading local and national artists. Professional curators and education staff develop and deliver a range of exhibitions and public programs exploring the unique culture and character of the Sunshine Coast.

Typical duties

Volunteer roles include:

  • gallery reception and retail support
  • supporting creative programs for children
  • gallery exhibition guides

In each role, you are offered training in gallery services and activities. Volunteers gain skills in:

  • visual literacy
  • customer service
  • art appreciation.

Volunteers are also invited to regular social functions where they can make new friends that share an interest in the arts.

Become a volunteer or join the Friends of the Gallery group. The exhibitions, public programs and external events are supported by the Friends of the Gallery through fundraising activities.
