A celebratory exhibition of favourites from the Sunshine Coast Art Collection as hand-picked by current and former Gallery Directors, Sandi Conte, John Waldron, Nina Shadforth, Hamish Sawyer and Jo Duke in recognition of the Gallery’s 20th anniversary on August 11, 2020.
The exhibition showcases all 14 Sunshine Coast Art Prize winning works and a timeline with over 500 photos documenting the people, events and artists that have shaped the space since a small group of volunteers began researching the viability of a regional gallery here in 1995.
A short film presents interviews with the current and former Gallery Directors as they speak of their time with the space and hopes for the future.
