Celebrate Disability Action Week with your best snap

Calling all Sunshine Coast locals with a lived experience of disability, Sunshine Coast Council’s photo competition gives you the chance to win a $200 Australia Zoo voucher.

Submit a photo of yourself at your favourite accessible and inclusive Sunshine Coast spot, along with a short description of what makes it special.

Your story could inspire others and showcase the best of our local area.

Submit your entry today and help us shine a light on the Sunshine Coast’s most inclusive places.

Entries close at 5pm on Monday, November 25, 2024. More information, along with terms and conditions, are available on Have your Say Sunshine Coast.

The winner will be announced on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, International Day of People with Disability.

To enter visit, Have your Say Sunshine Coast, which has recently had a new plug-in installed to improve accessibility.

When you visit the Have your Say website, simply click on the UserWay Accessibility widget, to set your accessibility profile and improve your online experience. The widget can be accessed by clicking on the person icon in the corner of the screen.

Implementation of the UserWay widget was an action from Council’s All Abilities Action Plan 2024-2028, to create a more inclusive region where everyone can participate equally.
