Sunshine Coast Gears Up With Rocky Trail
The Sunshine Coast is getting ready for three days of action-packed racing with Rocky Trail Entertainment at the Sugar Bag MTB Park. The three days will feature mountain biking events designed for riders of all ages and skill levels.
The three days are expected to have over 800 competitors at the start lines at the home trails of the local CORCA Club.
The Rocky Trail Academy Schools Competition, Australia’s fastest growing schools mountain bike competition, will be held across two days at Sugar Bag MTB Park. The third days sees us launch Rocky Trail’s new Shred & Flow event also features a pump track race.
Sunshine Coast Mayor Rosanna Natoli said the Sunshine Coast was a magnificent destination for Rocky Trail Entertainment to choose for their three-day event, already a popular place for mountain bikers.
“As an event sponsor, Council hopes these events continue to grow our reputation through these students as they develop confidence and teamwork on our Sugar Bag Mountain Bike Trails,” Mayor Natoli said.
“With the Sunshine Coast proposed to host mountain biking at the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, we are attracting increased interest in events being held here.”
