Artist Talk: Deb Mostert - Nature & Culture
Join Nature & Culture curator and artist Deb Mostert for a walk-through tour and discussion of her exhibition | Friday 13 December, 10:30am.

As a mid-career artist with a three decade practice, Deb's process is grounded in observational drawing. She believes there are stories in all things, tales of loss and destruction but also great hope and redemption. The 'Animals as Object' works have come about through her frequent visits to draw and document displays at the Queensland Museum over the last 7 years. A love and fascination with natural history and a long-standing art practice within the genre of still life has collided to produce the perfect storm of subject matter and conceptual concerns.
