Expressing Compassion and Love through Art
SCNAP24 Residency Prize Winner, Sydney-based Korean-Australian artist, Hyun Hee Lee, will guide participants through a process of connection and healing by expressing their emotions and experiences with chosen fragments of words filtered through their own experiences.
Join us in the beautiful surroundings of Montville County Cabins, Montville in a full day workshop with award-winning artist HyunHee Lee.
Participants will be encouraged to create artworks using personally chosen fragments of words and writings cut out of silk before stitching them onto canvas. These fragments will be reassembled and stitched onto canvas creating new stories and opening insights into new possibilities. During this process they will have the experience of connecting with their emotions and feelings which will be developed and express through their individual artworks.
Each participant will complete one personalised artwork. All materials will be supplied, and morning tea and lunch are included in the cost.
