Phone Cozy is a hands-on workshop that invites participants to reflect on their relationship with technology while crafting a handmade cozy for their phone.
Through guided conversation and creative making, we'll explore how the internet shapes our lives, how online connection feels, and what a more intentional digital life might look like.
As participants create their phone cozy, they'll also develop personal goals for how they want to engage with their devices and online spaces going forward.
Whether you love being online, are questioning your digital habits, or simply want space to reflect and connect with others, this workshop offers a welcoming environment for honest discussion and creative expression.

About the artist
Louella Michael is a contemporary artist and artsworker based in Meanjin. Craft and textiles knowledge underpins Michael’s practice as a connector of community and history. Intentionally over-investing time and labour in disposable, mass-produced materials, processes and subject matter, Michael pokes at assumed hierarchies of value. She utilises digital tools to explore how online networks have reframed our understanding of, and interactions with space, self and community.
