Sunshine Coast National Art Prize

The national acquisitive Sunshine Coast National Art Prize is a dynamic visual arts award reflecting outstanding contemporary 2D and new media arts practice in Australia. Since 2006, the exhibition presents the remarkable finalist works by artists from across the country.

The artwork awarded with the Major Prize will be acquired into the Sunshine Coast Art Collection. The People’s Choice Award is also decided by way of public vote by exhibition visitors — you wil be able to vote for your favourite finalist artwork.
