Artist Talk with Nicole Voevodin-Cash

An in-depth discussion of her work and artistic practice | 19 May

Join exhibiting artist Nicole Voevodin-Cash for an in-depth discussion of her work, artistic practice and involvement in the about-place / about-face exhibition.

Curated by writer and artist, Kevin Wilson, this exhibition takes a very different viewpoint on the concept of ‘natural place’. It works from the assumption that our perspective and understanding of ‘natural place’ is imbued with our own lived experience. In a sense, when we look at a place, we inevitably look in a mirror at ourselves.

Nicole Voevodin-Cash is a site-responsive visual artist who creates interventions that subtly disrupt the boundaries of our physical and social spaces. She is passionate about transforming places to engage the senses and makes works to push the boundaries between the artwork and viewer.
