Meet the artist behind Stupid Krap

Actually, it’s likely you already know Aaron as he’s a Sunshine Coast local who’s been creating iconic Pop Art paintings and designs since way back. He runs the online gallery, Stupid Krap, that specialises in original and limited-edition artworks from contemporary artists from around the world. We stock their popular enamel pins, embroidered patches and magnets in the gallery store.

Aaron’s art blends elements of pop culture in a style he calls “Pop Mash”. Referencing retro cartoons, comics and product packaging, his practice is a unique and updated take on nostalgic imagery.

Aaron has worked with Disney, Mattel, Marvel, Sony BMG, Sesame Street, and Mr Men in his signature style, and exhibited both nationally and internationally. Drop by the gallery store to collect your own piece of Stupid Krap.

Caloundra Regional Gallery is open Tuesday to Friday, 10am to 4pm, and Saturday to Sunday, 10am to 2pm.
