Spring has come to Caloundra

Bright and blooming wares in the Gallery Store

Spring has come to Caloundra

Spring has sprung at the gallery and we welcome the change of season. Alongside bright and lively artworks featured in the Sunshine Coast National Art Prize, we have added a pop of colour to the Gallery Store.

Florals abound at this time of year, and many of us love to spend time in the garden. Sow 'n Sow offer a range of eco-friendly gifts for those looking to reconnect with soil and seed. They have an array of clever designs on offer, including their signature "pop-up-pots", to house your indoor plants in lush designs. A "gift of seeds" can easily be posted in the mail; the recipient will think of you when the seeds bloom. They also make flower presses, so why not bring back this nostalgic pastime?

The always-popular resin bangles from RILLP Design are back! Available in a variety of colour-ways, our favourite for spring is the bright range of yellows, oranges and blues. You can even sport some iconic Sunny Coast beach sand on your arm, preserved in the resin.

Helen Kershaw has brightened the gallery store with her beautiful greeting cards and postcards. These are illustrated with scenes of nature from around the coast. From bushland vignettes to coastal vistas, Helen captures the landscape with sensitivity and skill.

Drop by the gallery for a spot of spring-themed gift shopping. Take home a memento of the beauty found and created right here on the Sunshine Coast. You can browse the Gallery Store from Tuesday to Friday, 10am to 4pm, and weekends, 10am to 2pm.
