The public artwork, Ancestors, was a collaboration between local Sunshine Coast artist Kirsten Cash and Kabi Kabi Elder Lyndon Davis in 2016. The trio of timber pieces stand tall with the artwork by Lyndon Davis telling the story of the Black Swan and water life of the Maroochy River.

Significant conservation of the work located on Bradman Ave, Maroochydore is now complete after much delay with the recent wet weather. This important conservation by Kirsten, will ensure it lives on for many years to come and for locals and visitors to Maroochydore to enjoy.
