Artist Statement

This painting represents the Perenti Dreaming.  The Perenti made the fire burn from all different places and ended up burning down to a place named Wire Creek Bore which is situated on the north side of Oodnadatta, South Australia.  From all those different places the Perenti formed the land. The circles are where the fire started to burn. The track is the travel of the fire across the land.
