Pop Up Feature Artisans
Farley Cameron is a contemporary artist based in Buderim, on the Sunshine Coast. She finds inspiration in the endless patterns of nature: a tool box full of lines, form, texture and colours to engage.
In this featured range of work, which includes velvet, linen and silk cushions, scarves, clutches and prints, Farley’s training as a textile and graphic designer unite with her sensitivities as a fine artist. Each piece is intricately detailed yet refined and luscious.
Based on her two-dimensional works, which are born in the studio of a polychromatic printing process in this range Farley reveals a seamless transition from the aesthetic to functional. It is in this transformation that her work speaks to the current exhibition, ceramicist Johanna DeMaine’s the form: the function: the aesthetic.
Farley Cameron’s pieces are featured and available instore until exhibition’s end, 26 April 2020.
Applications are open year-round for artisans and designers to join the Gallery Store as suppliers.
