Landscape painters eventually come to the realisation that nature is perfect. When something is perfect, then surely it is sacred. Sadly nature is not treated with the veneration it deserves. All of man’s killing of animals, land, and environment will work against him and must stall his evolution. My painting, ‘Dark Cloud’ is part of a series of work based on the man-made, and natural events that are threatening the life of the very highly sacred, Great Barrier Reef.
