Painting maintains a capacity to be a contemplative, intellectually fertile site from which to extract meaning. To highlight this I fuse seemingly contrary forms, abstracted from a range of popular culture entities. These objects function as a nexus. A point in time and space on which to focus on the ideas that arise from the material and function of life.
