Lyn is a multi-disciplinary artist who has been exploring process based creative expression for the past 25 years. Formally trained at the Queensland College of Art, she has embraced drawing, painting, lithography and printmaking as well as digital media technology in her practice. Her experience now informs her more recent work - developed out of her discovery of the cyanotype photographic method.

In these pieces, she combines her respect for the local environment and appreciation of natural forms with the unpredictable and frequently intuitive process of utilising light, time, movement and composition.

This new process has also deepened her respect for sustainability and resource recovery. Lyn restores, recycles and rejuvenates all manner of discarded, abandoned and second-hand jewellery into wearable works of art that come to reflect the preciousness of nature and free forming moments in time.
