Molly Galpin

Molly has over 25 years experience working with glass, copper foil, wire, hand painted fabric and other recycled objects to create beautiful coloured art

Molly has over 25 years experience working with glass, copper foil, wire, hand painted fabric and other recycled objects. She creates beautiful richly coloured art and turns recycled vintage crockery into mosaics.

Molly’s unique designs come in the form of glass lampshades, mirrors, personalised figurines, leadlight windows, jewellery and other functional pieces.

Molly’s latest passion is acrylic painting reversed onto glass, especially tabletops and glass bowls. She also enjoys creating two dimensional pieces.

Most of molly’s work is done from her studio at home. Her art is inspired by her love of re-purposing preloved and no longer deemed important things into fun, wearable home decor art.
