This body of work uses imaginative ceramic forms to highlight the life cycle of plants, from seed to plant to seed.
A deliberate sequence of parts moves from one stage to the next, tracing growth and renewal as a visual narrative. Textures, and colours recall pods, bark and seeds, linking the tactile to the symbolic.
Wheel-thrown forms, combined with hand-built and moulded elements, give rise to an interlocking module: a compact seed capsule, a branch, a stem and a final seed-bearing unit that will continue the cycle.
Through this cycle of growth, the work proposes renewal as a continuous act, a quiet assertion that life persists through change.
