This ink pen drawing transports us to a vista that I encountered walking through Kondalilla National Park. The beauty was present, I knew this was the place and I spent some time sitting and taking photographs. Later, I decided on the image I wished to draw. Using repetitive lines, hatching and cross-hatching, my interpretation of the ancient landscape emerged. I touched again the contours of the land, remembered the smooth rock forms and witnessed the magic fig drinking at the creek. Although the landscape is everchanging, the feeling is eternal.
