Tender love passed from one hand to another. The gesture of hand holding and all that is conveyed. Our hands hold so much, say so much, are the conduits of touch and nurture.

These hands belong to my mother and second father. They have held me throughout my entire life; through the good times and the sad. They have held. They still hold.

This image was taken in the back garden of my childhood home in Maleny. A place of so much memory and story. Witnessing the tender love between my parents is incredibly sacred to me.
